The Jaguars’ brand new headquarters along the downtown corridor will also be home to a new YMCA gym and a local law firm.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars are making another addition to the downtown corridor.
On Wednesday, the organization held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new business offices located at One Tower Court.
The 137-thousand-square-foot facility will not only be the home of the Jaguars front office staff, but also to a law firm and a new YMCA gym.Â
“This is just an incredible realization of so much of what we’ve envisioned for downtown,” said Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan while speaking at the ribbon cutting.Â
Mayor Deegan was joined by members of the city council, Shanna Khan of the Shanna Collective, and members of the Jaguars front office in welcoming in dozens of community members to tour the new facility.Â
“This is as clear evidence as we can provide that absolutely downtown Jacksonville can become the place of choice in the region, but it takes all of us,” said Jaguars President Mark Lamping.Â
Directly behind the new building is the site of the region’s first Four Seasons hotel that is slated to open in 2027.
“When this gets complete, believe it or not, just between that building and that building, there’ll be 5 public restaurants available to those that work downtown, visit downtown and those that live downtown,” said Lamping.
In addition to the restaurants, there will be a park, marina, sundries shop and a small stage for live performances. The Jaguars organization says they hope to make the area just another reason to visit downtown Jacksonville.Â
“With the state-of-the-art ‘Stadium of the Future’ just steps away, these projects, in conjunction with the completion of the North Bank Parks, will transform our downtown waterfront, serving as a destination 365 days a year,” said Lamping.
