A Lehigh Acres road has immediately closed due to a water main break early Thursday morning.
Just before 6 a.m., Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno posted on his X account saying Homestead Rd. is closed for emergency repairs between Beth Stacy Blvd and Lee Blvd.
There is a detour in place to guide drivers heading on their morning drives.
Sheriff Marceno is urging the public to use caution while navigating the area.
