Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews battled a fire that swept through an apartment in Biscayne Gardens early Thursday.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at the building near the 15600 block of Northwest 2nd Avenue around 5:30 a.m.
When they arrived, smoke and flames were coming from one of the apartments.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
