Nineties (and beyond) alt-rock heroes Weezer head out on an arena run this fall, and they will be returning to Orlando.
Weezer have announced a 32-city tour dubbed “The Gathering,” also featuring The Shins and Silversun Pickups. The tour kicks off in early September in California, making its way to Florida in October for three shows in Orlando, Sunrise and Tampa. The band were last here in 2024 at the Kia Center with Dinosaur Jr. and Flaming Lips.
To help whet fans’ whistles for these shows, Weezer will release a new single on April 1 (heyo!) dubbed “Shine Again,” with the promise of a new album eventually. Or you could just binge the Blue Album and Pinkerton.
Weezer play the Kia Center on Sunday, Oct. 11. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 3, through Ticketmaster.
