FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – A Carrabelle teen was unharmed Thursday afternoon after his vehicle overturned on U.S. Highway 98 in Franklin County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just before 2:45 p.m. on the highway, FHP wrote in a press release.
A vehicle, driven by the 17-year-old, was traveling west on the highway, just west of Hidden Beaches Road.

However, “due to obstruction in the westbound lane,” the vehicle veered off the road while traveling west, troopers said. The teen then reentered the road just before crossing the center line, according to the state agency.
Moments later, the 17-year-old traveled north west, exiting the roadway while rotating clockwise, FHP said. The vehicle then overturned just before coming to a final rest on its roof.
