March 26, 2026 – The University of South Florida has named Chris Mack as the new head coach of its men’s basketball program, bringing a veteran leader with nine NCAA Tournament appearances. Mack most recently coached at the College of Charleston and previously led Xavier and Louisville, compiling a 323-153 career record. He replaces interim leadership as USF builds on recent program momentum.
