FORT PIERCE – Three Fort Pierce residents were arrested on March 26 by St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a reported burglary in a storage unit in the Golden Ponds manufactured homes community in Fort Pierce, according to sheriff’s office reports.

Arrested were Eric Brown, 37, and Jesse Humphrey, 18, each on nine counts of burglary and two counts of dealing in stolen property; and Jordan Boatwright, 21, as accessory after the fact and dealing in stolen property.

During the investigation, Deputy Bradley Bell developed information on March 26, which led to an individual being found in possession of tools stolen during the burglary that occurred on March 23, according to sheriff’s office reports. Deputies learned this individual purchased the items from another person the day after the burglary.

Through continued investigative efforts involving deputies, Criminal Investigations Division detectives, and Crime Scene Investigators, additional suspects were identified. Detectives followed up on multiple leads, ultimately confirming the involvement of three individuals connected to the burglary.

As a result of the investigation, on March 26, Det. Cpl. Jeffrey Anzalone conducted interviews with all involved parties, collected additional evidence, and established probable cause for arrest.

All three were being booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on March 26, a jail spokesperson said.
