An off-duty Cape Coral police officer was arrested Friday after law enforcement responded to a disturbance.According to the Cape Coral Police Department, Timothy Allen was arrested and taken to the Lee County Jail after investigators said he battered his spouse.Allen was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.Cape Coral Police Chief Anthony Sizemore issued the following statement:”As Chief, I want to be clear that no one is above the law—regardless of their position or profession. According to the Cape Coral Police Department, Timothy Allen was arrested and taken to the Lee County Jail after investigators said he battered his spouse.
