FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Fort Pierce police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Friday morning in a residential neighborhood north of downtown.

According to the Fort Pierce Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call around 10 a.m. along North 13th Street near Ave. F, after reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
