Early this month, Alejandro Arenas, Simon Lasky and Allison Nash started recording their debut album The Bacharach Book.

Jazz audiences in the know have had plenty of chances to see the bass-piano-and-vocal trio better known as Arenas, Lasky & Nash Project perform material from the effort in a living-room style setting inspired by “MTV Unplugged.”

Expect to hear a lot of Bachy’s material along with original work from the revered local musicians.

Arenas, Lasky & Nash Project: The Bacharach Book Sunday, March 29. 3 p.m. $17.50 & up. New Tampa Performing Arts Center, Tampa
