JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida Men’s Soccer earned a River City Rumble series sweep with a 2-0 win over crosstown rival Jacksonville in its regular season home finale at Hodges Stadium on Saturday night.
North Florida secured its spot in the 2025 ASUN Men’s Soccer Championship and were crowned 2025 ASUN Graphite Division Champions.
With the win, North Florida improves to 11-4 overall and 4-1 in the ASUN Conference. North Florida concludes the regular season with a 5-0 record at Hodges Stadium.
It marked the eighth shutout of the season for North Florida.
North Florida held a 5-0 shot advantage through the initial 20 minutes of action.
North Florida capitalized on a play in the goal area from junior midfielder Tyler Prebenda in the 32nd minute to make it 1-0.
Sophomore midfielder Anton Khelil extended the lead to 2-0 with a strike from outside the 18-yard frame in the 35th minute for his second goal of the season. The goal was assisted by fifth year midfielder Rentaro Miyakawa for his third assist of the season.
Redshirt junior Luciano Natoli posted his eighth clean sheet of the season with four saves in 90 minutes in goal.
Overall, 19 Ospreys logged time in the match.
North Florida concludes the regular season when it travels to DeLand, Fla., to face Stetson on Nov. 1. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Athletic Training Center.
