FLORIDA — Protests are planned to take place in Florida and around the U.S. for what is being billed as the “No Kings Day of Nonviolent Action” to protest President Donald Trump’s administration policies.

Organizers are calling them peaceful demonstrations and say they are concerned about federal policies and enforcement programs, including agreements that involve local law enforcement in federal immigration actions.

The rally in Tallahassee will run from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday in front of the old state capitol.

The Tampa Bay region is expected to see some of the highest numbers of activity in the state, with events spread across Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties throughout the day.

In Central Florida, demonstrations are expected in several areas in Orlando and in parts of Osceola and Seminole counties.
