October 25, 2025 – Forrest Lasso, one of the most decorated defenders in USL Championship history, will retire from the Tampa Bay Rowdies following the 2025 season. Lasso has earned three Defender of the Year awards and became the club’s first Players’ Shield recipient in 2021. He and Leo Fernandes, another fan-favorite Rowdie who is retiring at the end of the season, have one match remaining Saturday night at Al Lang Stadium.
