Caden Freedman and Trey Dunlap were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Freedman pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Dunlap tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Freedman has been consistent: he hasn’t given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Freedman went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Dunlap went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Coming up, St. Edward’s will host Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Port St. Lucie, they are taking a road trip to square off against Melbourne Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars’ pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hustlers have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
