The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for the suspect in an early morning shooting on Beach Boulevard Sunday.
Police were called to a local hospital at around 3 a.m. after a man arrived suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg, Sgt. Scott said in a news briefing. The injury is considered non-life-threatening.
After an initial investigation and limited conversation with the victim, investigators learned that the man, in his 30s, was involved in a dispute with the male suspect in a parking lot near the intersection with Hodges Blvd. The victim was shot, and the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Details regarding what led up to the fight and where the two people were before the shooting were not immediately available.
