Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has come to the defense of the legendary Fenway Park.
Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox, opened in 1912. It’s been home to the AL East franchise ever since. It’s widely considered one of the best ballparks in all of American sports.

But some fans think it’s overrated.
Some accuse the legendary MLB ballpark of being outdated, with small seats, tight stairwells, bad sight lines and more. But Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is coming to its defense on Sunday.

DeSantis made it clear that he is a fan of Fenway Park.
The Governor of Florida believes that Fenway is one of the top two parks in Major League Baseball, along with PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
He was responding to a ranking that didn’t have Fenway Park in the top five, with Petco Park in San Diego at No. 1.

“No — I’d put Fenway and PNC above Petco,” he responded.
One fan claimed: “Fenway looks nice on TV, but actually (stinks) to attend.

“No way. When you walk up and see the Green Monster it is a unique experience. Not everything needs to be a modern luxury. There is a charm to the place especially given all the history there,” he wrote.
Others, meanwhile, are critical.
“I think they meant the seats where you have a huge view obstruction. Ive sat 1st base side behind one of those huge beams and could see about 60% of the game it wasnt great. Ive only had that issue once but it does stink,” one fan said.
