MIDDLEBURG — Personal health isn’t just a concept at ELMNT Wellness. It’s a luxurious reality.
Imagine each experience designed and catered to your needs, detailed with the perfect, holistic processes and wrapped in a big bow of education.
Owner Lori Creel said that’s what her modern wellness studio has to offer, and then some.
“There’s nothing really like this out there.”
Following a soft community introduction on Feb. 11, ELMNT Wellness officially opened its doors on Corsair Lane on March 21. Creel was welcomed into the neighborhood, with a multitude of customers eager to get a taste of what the contemporary building had to offer.
Creel opened ELMNT Wellness as an accessible option for those needing a full-body reboot. A chance to slow down and reconnect. Services offered, she said, support the body’s natural processes, emphasizing balance and intentional care.
Equipped with four rooms, each of which provides various therapy services. In Room 1, individuals can obtain all the necessary fluids their bodies need during an IV Therapy session. Through intravenous infusion, fluids, vitamins, minerals and nutrients are delivered directly into the bloodstream.
Room two hosts Celluma Red Light Therapy, a calming, noninvasive process that uses light wavelengths to support cellular function and skin health. In this room, Creel said she also provides manual lymphatic drainage. The room ambiance, with sound-barrier walls, allows for a peaceful atmosphere.
“It’s designed to help reset the mind. It’s a mindful room. People can come in there and do meditation or prayer. Or whatever they want to do.”
Room three hosts an Infrared Sauna. While some clients experience the benefits of a natural sweating, others are breathing in micronized salt crystals from the accompanying Halo Therapy machine. This is good for those with asthma, allergies, respiratory immune function and some skin conditions.
Finally, in room four, a Colon Hydrotherapy machine is guided by a practitioner and designed to support the body’s elimination process. The machine, she said, uses warm water to infuse the colon and help with chronic constipation.
ELMNT also offers additional services, including compression therapy, a bentonite detox foot bath and nervous system support. Pulse Electromagnetic Field therapy will be coming soon.
Each session, she said, is customized to each client’s needs, which they discuss on an intake form before the process begins. Creel said this makes it a meaningful experience.
“It actually makes sense to look at the individual person and not just bucket them into a group. So that they’re getting the most benefit for what it is that they’re wanting to do.”
Creel, a certified massage therapist and board-certified colon hydrotherapist, worked in healthcare information technology for 30 years. Her personal journey with health and wellness inspired her to pursue a more gratifying path.
“I started using these therapies and understanding by researching and reading. And trying to figure out what it is that’s causing the symptom. Because if you treat the symptom, you’re just hiding the root cause.
“This is something that I wanted to bring to the community because I know it helped me with my journey, and I’ve seen what it does when it helps other people.”
Each pod is designed with intention. Soft lighting, natural textures and a relaxed atmosphere make up the ambiance. Creel said her clients are guided and educated on how each service works together.
“Instead of knowing that the only option is to call a doctor to get another prescription, there are ways to feel better that take your health into your own hands.
“It’s been received really well with the people who have come in. They like to talk about it and tell their friends. But I think education is really important with a lot of these things.”
In proximity to Ascention St. Vincent’s Clay County and other medical offices, and in the center of a continuously growing area, she is hoping to create a community partnership.
“It’s the benefit of being able to help people that drives all of that for me.”
