Tampa and the greater Tampa Bay Region have long been a friendly home to the arts, and now, there’s a Tampa gallery helping put the city on the map nationally and even globally in the world of fine arts. What we’ve always known here is being shared across the country thanks to Drew Marc Gallery (2409 S MacDill Ave Suite 400).
Founded in South Tampa by gallery director Andrew Trujillo, the gallery has quickly established itself as one of the city’s premier destinations for contemporary fine art, bringing internationally recognized artists to the region while creating opportunities for emerging local talent to grow on a national stage. It’s the kind of mixture of external draw and internal platform that helps both Tampa and its artists shine.

Now, Drew Marc Gallery is taking that mission even further. This spring, the gallery will make its New York debut at Art Expo New York, the largest art fair in New York City, held April 9 through April 12 at Pier 36 in Manhattan. The gallery will present a large-scale exhibition in Booth 215, showcasing works by artists from its world-class roster, including Hunt Slonem, Imani Bilal, Evelyn Brader-Frank, Ninon, Brandon Spivey, Agnes Jackiewicz, and Judith Lavendar.
Having a Tampa gallery featuring globally-recognized artists at one of the world’s biggest fine art events is a huge moment for the city and its growing reputation. For Trujillo, participating in a major international art fair like Art Expo New York represents more than an exciting opportunity for the gallery. It reflects a larger vision for Tampa’s role in the contemporary art world.
“Drew Marc Gallery was founded with the goal of bringing museum-quality contemporary art to Tampa while also giving our artists opportunities to be seen on a national stage,” Trujillo said. “Participating in major art fairs like Art Expo New York allows us to introduce our artists to new audiences while also spotlighting Tampa as a city with a vibrant and growing fine art community.”
Since opening its doors less than two years ago, Drew Marc Gallery has rapidly built a reputation for hosting dynamic exhibitions and vibrant opening receptions that regularly attract hundreds of attendees. One recent highlight was the gallery’s highly anticipated exhibition featuring internationally celebrated artist Hunt Slonem, which included a book signing and artist talk that brought collectors and art enthusiasts from across the region together.

Much of what makes Drew Marc Gallery so special is the way Trujillo uses the space to blend emerging voices with established artists, giving collectors the opportunity to discover rising talent while also acquiring investment-quality works by internationally recognized names. It provides a destination to sate Tampa’s appetite for museum-quality work, while providing the platform for local talent to be discovered.
“As Tampa continues to grow as a city, so does the demand for culture and meaningful artistic experiences,” Trujillo said. “We’re working hard to build a bridge between Tampa and the larger art world by presenting artists who deserve national attention while also connecting our local community with exceptional artwork and investment opportunities.”
While we highly recommend visiting Drew Marc Gallery’s local exhibitions, Art Expo New York also gives us an excuse for a trip up north as the weather warms. It’s the opportunity to see a local star representing our city and artists on a global stage.
The fair runs April 9–12, 2026, with April 9 serving as the VIP Preview Night, where collectors have the opportunity to acquire artwork before the fair opens to the public. Drew Marc Gallery has a limited number of VIP passes available for collectors interested in attending. Collectors and art enthusiasts can request complimentary tickets to the fair here.
As Drew Marc Gallery continues to expand its national presence while hosting ambitious exhibitions at home in Tampa, Trujillo believes the city’s art scene is only just beginning.
“Tampa is growing in incredible ways,” he said. “Our goal is to help ensure that the arts grow with it.”
Drew Marc Gallery is located at 2409 S. MacDill Ave., Suite 400, Tampa, FL 33629. The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. Private appointments are available upon request on Mondays and Tuesdays. Check out their upcoming shows here.
