Work began Tuesday morning, March 31st, to upgrade Pump Station 135 at 270 Sunrise Drive on Key Biscayne and will continue for a week.
The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) is improving the system’s reliability and service to the surrounding community by replacing the deteriorated piping and pumps.
WASD crews are expected to work from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day and weekend work may be required.
One eastbound lane on Sunrise Drive will be closed during work hours between 260 and 270 Sunrise Drive. Temporary sidewalk closures also may take place during work hours.
The pump station upgrade will not affect water or wastewater services in your area.
