All month long we’ve been celebrating Women’s History Month by showcasing some of the amazing women who make the city so special and who keep our communities moving. While the month is ending, so many of our favorite businesses are worth celebrating year-round. The number of those run by talented and hard-working women is borderline more than we count.
To close out the month and to encourage support of our local businesses all year long, our staff is highlighting some of our favorite women-owned spots that we frequent in the area. From restaurants to shops and everything in between, these are the places that keep the city (and us) running. This isn’t a comprehensive list by any means – our team had a hard time cutting it down to a manageable list. But these local stars are certainly great places to start.
