Urban grocer and convenience-store retailer Go Grocer held a soft opening last week for its first Florida location in Fort Lauderdale.

The Chicago-based retailer’s location in the Sunshine State is at Flagler Village, a mixed-use development located at 500 N. Andrews Ave. The leased space is 2,538 square feet.

Go Grocer started in 2008, founded by brothers Greg and Paul Stellatos. Go Grocer operates more than 12 locations throughout Chicago as well as two locations in Milwaukee

“We are extremely excited to continue our expansion journey into south Florida,” Greg Stellatos told CSP on Friday. “Fort Lauderdale and Flagler Village have embraced us with open arms. We will be announcing more locations in the near future.”

Go Grocer offers grocery essentials, freshly made grab-and-go items, locally sourced products and alcohol products.

In 2024, Go Grocer told CSP that “we’re not a 7-Eleven, but rather a mini Trader Joe’s.”
