The Miami Police Department reported that a second victim came forward to them on March 20 after seeing Demeo’s arrest on social media on March 19.

The second victim, who was 39-year-old at the time of the alleged battery, said she went to Demeo’s office on Sept. 21, 2023. Before the assault, the victim said she had seen Demeo a few times for procedures.

The victim said on the day of the alleged assault, she took her mother to Demeo’s facility for facial work, while the victim was scheduled to have Botox treatment on her face at the facility.

The victim said she asked about tattoo removal and Demeo suggested to have the tattoo removed the same day and the victim agreed.

After the tattoo removal, the victim said she waited for her mother to be done and when her mother was finished, they along with Demeo exited the office. The victim said Demeo suggested the victim take an ice pack for her face.

The victim said she followed Demeo to a room, while her mother waited in the lobby.

When Demeo entered a small room, she followed him. The victim said Demeo closed the door and reached for an ice pack, and he gave it to her.

The victim alleged that Demeo then exposed his private parts to her and asked the victim to “kiss it.”

The victim said she said no to Demeo several times and tried to end the encounter by mentioning her mother was in the lobby waiting for her.

In fear that Demeo was much larger than her, the presence of needles in the room that could be used by Demeo to hurt her, and Demeo’s consistent requests, the victim said she complied with Demeo’s request in fear of her safety.

The victim then requested to leave the room but claimed Demeo then sexually assaulted her.

When the encounter was over, the victim said she exited the room and reunited with her mother in the lobby. The victim said she did not mention the assault to her mother.

The victim said she told someone, who encouraged the victim to contact the police, but the victim refused.

On March 24, 2026, a detective spoke with the woman the victim talked to about the encounter with Demeo, and the woman confirmed the details that the victim told police.

The woman told detectives over the phone that she was employed at Demeo’s facility and knew the victim.

The woman said she wanted to confront Demeo, office staff or tell the police about the incident, but declined because she wanted to respect the privacy of the victim and her wishes.

The woman said it is common for staff to leave patients alone with Demeo if payment was collected or payment was not necessary.

The woman claimed that she once found a condom in a procedure room and when she told other staff members about it, the staff “did not seem surprised.”

The woman told detectives that other female patients have said Demeo was “touchy,” added that patients were able to self-medicate with their own medication and wine was offered to patients before or after a procedure at the Demeo’s request.

The Florida Department of Health took action against Demeo.

On March 20, Florida Surgeon General Joseph A. Ladapo signed an Order of Emergency Suspension of License for Demeo following his March 18 arrest.

The suspension prevents Demeo from practicing medicine in Florida.

Demeo, a native of New Jersey, has been licensed as a doctor in Florida since August 1989.

According to his Meridian Cosmetic website, Demeo also has an office in New York City.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Demeo’s medical license remains active in the state of New York.

During a bond hearing Wednesday in Miami-Dade County Court, Demeo’s attorney, Daniel A. Lurvey, said he believed the incident was consensual and there was no probable cause.

Judge Mindy S. Glazer disagreed with the attorney and stated there was probable cause for the sexual battery charge.

Judge Glazer ordered Demeo not to have contact with the victim and placed Demeo back on house arrest with a $7,500 bond.
