JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A Jacksonville man is in jail facing several charges, including statutory rape.
Ashton Lamb was arrested by Jacksonville police officers this morning.
The 19-year-old is charged with two counts of statutory rape of a child 15 years old or younger, two counts of indecent liberties with a child and first-degree statutory sex offense.
Warrants say the crimes were committed against two victims, including one who is under 13 years old.
Warrants list that several of the offenses happened on Sunday, while one of his charges stems from a rape that happened in February.
Lamb was taken to the Onslow County Jail and is being held without bond.
