Pokémon players, supporters, and fans from across the nation are gathering in Orlando as competitors battle for prizes.
The 2026 Pokémon Orlando Regional Championships are coming to Orlando the weekend of April 3rd. Players from across the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), and Pokémon GO will compete at the Orange County Convention Center.
The family-friendly competition will provide great visuals of the packed convention hall, highlighted by intense head-to-head battles and an energetic crowd of family, fans, and supporters cheering competitors on.
Players will compete for scholarships and cash prizes, including the coveted title of Pokémon Regional Champion.
Organizers expect thousands of fans and competitors to battle for the title of Pokémon Regional Champion, valuable Championship Points, and a portion of over $130,000 in prizes, scholarships, and gift cards. And for those not competing, they can watch the action on the main stage, shop new Pokémon merchandise from on-site vendors, and take part in popular side events to acquire prizes.
All attendees who have an official event badge, regardless of whether the attendee is competing in the Regional Championships or are a spectator of the event, can battle for a variety of awesome prizes in smaller competitions throughout the weekend. Organizers said it is a great opportunity to compete against players from around the world. The Championship Points also count toward a potential invite to the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco.
Tickets are $20.
Fans who aren’t able to attend in person can catch all the action online on Twitch and YouTube and watch the Orlando competition from the comfort of their own homes.
