Your weekend is here, Central Florida! Here’s a look at the news and what events are going on in the area.

Temperatures will be mainly in the lower to middle 60s Saturday, with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. A cold front will deepen out of Georgia and continue to diminish as it travels through South and Central Florida, so daytime highs will range in the lower to middle 80s, with breezes gusting up to 25 miles per hour locally.

By Sunday, a new storm system from the west will enter the Southeast, transitioning into Monday and allowing for scattered showers and potentially a few weak thunderstorms.

The forecast will dry out gradually next week, with temperatures sliding to the 70s for daytime highs by Thursday.
