TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A man was shot and killed overnight Sunday on Apalachee Parkway during a “large physical altercation,” according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
Tallahassee Police responded to the reported shooting at about 1:31 a.m. Sunday at the 1100 block of Apalachee Parkway, per TPD.
Officers said an adult male was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were attempted but the victim later died at a local hospital, per TPD.
“Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred during a large physical altercation,” TPD said.

Tallahassee Police are currently conducting a homicide investigation and said there is no threat to the public.
