Easter Sunday service held at sunrise on Hollywood Beach
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — As the night loosened its grip and light, quiet as a secret, began to breathe across the easter Sunday sky along Hollywood Beach.
Observers started showing up just after 5 a.m. for the sacred service on Easter Sunday, a tradition that’s been happening for more than 30 years.
This sunrise service has brought out hundreds of people for decades now.
Dave Bass said he’s been coming to the beachside ceremony for more than 10 years.
He said being there with the wind and the sun in the sand does something to your soul.
It was just one of many Easter services and celebrations held across South Florida.
