WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – An 86-year-old woman was seriously injured and two others had minor injuries after a head-on crash on Shadeville Road and Thames Street, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP responded to the two-vehicle crash around 2:25 p.m. between a Toyota SUV and a Toyota sedan traveling in opposite directions, according to the agency.
Troopers said a Crawfordville 19-year-old driving the SUV westbound on Shadeville Road swerved into the eastbound lane where the Toyota sedan was traveling.
The SUV collided head-on with the sedan.

Troopers said the driver and passenger of the SUV had minor injuries, while the 86-year-old woman from Crawfordville driving the sedan had serious injuries.
The road was reportedly blocked due to the crash.
Troopers said they were assisted by the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office and the Wakulla Fire & Rescue.
