TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man was sentenced to 13 years in prison for charges relating to drug distribution and stolen firearm possession, according to the Northern District of Florida’s U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Specifically, 46-year-old Ramon Rodas was sentenced on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl as well as possession of a stolen firearm by a convicted felon, the attorney’s office wrote in a press release Monday.
Rodas’ sentencing is in connection to a drug investigation that targeted multiple individuals in August 2022, the attorney’s office said.

Court records show that on Aug. 11, 2022, authorities executed a search warrant at a suspected drug house where the 46-year-old was found, the press release revealed. Officers located fentanyl, methamphetamine, a stolen handgun, $2,900 in currency and “other items indicative of drug distribution” inside the home, per the attorney’s office’s statement.
Due to being “a multi-time convicted felon,” the press release said that Rodas is legally barred from possessing firearms after prior convictions for burglary of a dwelling, burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, possession of burglary tools, dealing in stolen property and possession of controlled substances.
