On a visit to Magic Kingdom this morning, April 6, we spotted a new construction wall placed behind the side of the castle. From the front of the castle, this is the right side, and from the back, it is the left.

Here is another angle of the wall, showing how far it extends beyond the castle.

As you can see, some of the walls on this side of the castle are still pink, and the roof elements have not been repainted yet. We presume the construction wall is part of the ongoing castle repainting project.

Guests visiting Cinderella’s Royal Table still have access to the restaurant entryway; they just have to go around the wall to enter.

The area inside Sir Mickey’s is still blocked off by a blue curtain with gold fringe.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is also still open, though the queue to meet the Fairy Godmother has been impacted by the presence of the wall.

Because of the wall, guests are unable to use the walkway on the far right side of the castle (from the front). This is the walkway right by the Mirabel meet and greet. That walkway is also where Cinderella’s wishing well is, so that is inaccessible while the wall is in place.
