The Bullard Family Foundation hosted its inaugural Celebrity Golf Tournament on March 29-30 at Hunter’s Green Golf & Country Club in New Tampa, bringing a high-profile mix of athletes, entertainers, and community leaders to Tampa Bay for what organizers said was a dynamic addition to the region’s event landscape.
Basketball Hall of Famer Julius Erving and actor and comedian Anthony Anderson headlined the event, joined by more than 30 current and former professional athletes and entertainers.
The two-day gathering began with a VIP reception on March 29 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, followed by tournament play March 30.
“This event brought together people who understand the power of using their platform for good,” said Thaddeus Bullard, aka WWE star Titus O’Neil and founder of the Bullard Family Foundation. “We have created something special for Tampa Bay: an experience that raises resources and awareness while making a real difference for families in our community.”
The celebrity field included Derrick Brooks, Chris Godwin, Jameis Winston, Gary Sheffield, Fred McGriff, Vince Wilfork, Booger McFarland, and Brian Jordan, along with additional NFL players, entertainers, and social media influencers.
“This is more than a golf tournament — it’s a platform for impact,” Bullard said. “Every dollar raised helps us expand opportunities for children and families who need it most.”
