The store will debut in late 2027 at the Galleria Fort Lauderdale as part of the center’s comprehensive redevelopment, Wayfair noted. The new superstore will occupy 94,000 square feet across two levels, marking a significant milestone in Wayfair’s continued brick-and-mortar retail expansion, the company stated.

Galleria Fort Lauderdale is undergoing a redevelopment aimed at boosting its bona fides as a vibrant, mixed-use destination combining retail, dining, and lifestyle offerings, Wayfair maintained. The store will operate at one end of the mall and offer an extensive assortment across key home categories, including housewares, appliances, décor, and furniture. Shoppers will have access to Wayfair Verified items curated by the company’s specialist product evaluators, as well as dedicated design services to support projects of all sizes, from simple updates to full home transformations.

The Fort Lauderdale store is the sixth Wayfair store it has opened or announced, the others being in Wilmette, IL; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; Denver, CO; and Westchester, NY. Wilmette and Atlanta are already hosting shoppers. As with those two stores, Wayfair’s Fort Lauderdale location will reflect local community preferences, with assortments tailored to South Florida lifestyles, including a coastal aesthetic, indoor/outdoor living, and a year-round focus on entertaining. Shoppers can take home many items, with fast, free delivery available for larger items via Wayfair’s logistics network.

“As we continue to grow our retail footprint, entering Florida with a namesake store is an exciting next step for Wayfair,” said Liza Lefkowski, Wayfair vice president of merchandising and stores, in announcing the Florida store. “Galleria Fort Lauderdale’s transformation creates an ideal setting for us to introduce our in-store experience to a new community of customers.”
