A church parking lot incident turned violent on Easter Sunday when a woman began hitting people in the parking lot with her vehicle.According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, an off-duty deputy working traffic control at Northland Church in Longwood witnessed a woman, later identified as Jill Sinay, striking a parking staff member with her vehicle before continuing forward.When the deputy approached and ordered her to stop, investigators said Sinay instead accelerated, hitting the deputy in the knee with her car before fleeing the scene.Deputies said they followed her with lights and sirens before stopping Sinay at a nearby intersection.When officers tried to take her into custody, they said she fought back, kicking and scratching deputies.Sinay was arrested and is now facing multiple felony charges, including aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing police and hit-and-run with injury.
