A suspect was taken into custody on Tuesday evening after a crash involving a stolen vehicle.The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, which happened around 4:52 p.m. near State Route 28 and Branch Hill Guinea Pike.According to Goshen Township Police, the incident began at Meadowview Townhomes, when 32-year-old Keon Humphries was allegedly involved in an assault.Police said after the assault, Humphries stole the victim’s car and was later spotted near State Route 28 and Deerfield Road. When officers tried to pull him over, he fled for a short distance before crashing into two cars and a police cruiser.Police said one officer suffered minor injuries in the crash.Humphries was taken into custody after a chase.Humphries, who was wanted in Michigan for parole violations, has been charged with domestic violence, felonious assault, grand theft auto and fleeing. Miami Township Police, Miami Township Fire & EMS, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Batavia Post and the Ohio State Highway Patrol Intelligence Unit also responded to the scene.
