‘Young hoodlums:’ Gang of boys caught playing ‘real-life Frogger’ in Central Florida, sheriff says

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office took to social media on Wednesday after a gang of young boys was caught engaging in mischief at a local park last week.

In a release, deputies said that the group of around 30 middle-school-aged boys — dubbed “PG-13″ — was spotted on Friday at Holland Park Pavilion.

At the time, they were seen playing “real-life Frogger” with moving cars, climbing a water fountain to access the roof, and tearing up the park lawn while riding e-bikes, deputies added.

“Not to be outdone, the group also managed to break a changing table, proving once again that if you leave teenage boys unsupervised, they will absolutely find something to destroy,” the release reads.

As such, the sheriff’s office encouraged parents to ensure they know what their children are up to when they leave the house.

“Holland Park is for picnics and play — not junior varsity parkour, demolition practice, or audition tapes for ‘Impractical Jokers: The Next Generation,’” the release concludes. “If you recognize your aspiring stuntmen, we encourage you to have a chat… before we do.”

No additional information about the incident or those involved has been provided at this time.
