Residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and help keep Key Biscayne beautiful at a community-wide cleanup on Saturday, April 11.
Hosted by the Village of Key Biscayne in partnership with Fill A Bag and the Key Biscayne Community Foundation, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with volunteers meeting at Paradise Park.
Participants are encouraged to bring comfortable shoes, a refillable water bottle and sun protection, along with a positive attitude.
Organizers will provide reusable gloves, buckets and bags, safety vests, water stations and lunch. Community service hours will also be available for participating students.
The cleanup is part of an ongoing effort to protect the island’s natural environment and bring neighbors together for a shared cause.
