Fire at Tampa Chinese restaurant causes road closures

Road closures are in place Thursday morning as crews are investigating a fire at a Tampa Chinese restaurant.

Tampa Fire Rescue crews responded sometime before 8:30 a.m. to a reported structure fire at the Yummy House China Bistro on Hillsborough Avenue.

The fire is under control and no injuries were reported. All employees were safely evacuated from the building.

Westbound Hillsborough Avenue remains closed between 30th Street and 22nd Street as crews continue investigating.

Drivers should seek alternate routes.
