A woman accused of operating an illegal an assisting-living facility in Miami was arrested on Tuesday, records showed.
Crystal White, 38, is facing several charges, including organized fraud and operating an assisting-living facility without a license.
According to authorities, on March 17, an investigation regarding an unlicensed post-cosmetic surgery assisted living facility at an address on Southwest 132nd Court was launched.
An arrest report said a search warrant was executed at the property, and authorities found eight patients and two employees.
The patients were then interviewed and told authorities that staff took care of their bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene and medication, the report said.
Another person, identified as Kerri Smith, was the face of the business of Instagram, and also had a website that touted the business as providing around-the-clock care from nursing professionals and caregiving staff, the report said.

The patients, the report said, would pay $300 a night to stay at the home to get those services, and would make the payments through Zelle. One of the employees told authorities they were paid $500 per week in cash by Smith, while another employee was paid $45 per trip for either picking up a patient or getting their medication.
During the search of the business, authorities found biohazard human waste in trash cans in the garage, as well as throughout the home, the report said. It was deemed to be harmful to the public.
It was also revealed that White and Smith received over $200,000 since October 2025, and that they didn’t have the license to operate an assisted-living facility, the report said.
White and Smith, the report said, were also previously arrested in two separate incidents in 2023 for operating two unlicensed post-cosmetic surgery assisted-living facilities.
White was then arrested and charged.
