Reneé Rapp was set to perform on Monday, Oct. 27, at the Yuengling Center on the University of South Florida campus.
TAMPA, Fla. — Singer Reneé Rapp has postponed the Tampa date of her “Bite Me” tour just a day before the scheduled Oct. 27 performance.
In a statement posted to Instagram on Sunday, Rapp shared that she had to reschedule both her Tampa and Atlanta concerts due to illness.
“In my career I have never had to do this before — but I have to reschedule tonight and tomorrow’s shows,” she wrote. “I’ve been pushing through an illness, but my body has finally given out.”
Rapp went on to say that her doctors told her it wasn’t safe to perform as she needs “vocal rest and physical recovery.”
The Tampa concert has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the Yuengling Center on the University of South Florida campus. All original tickets will be honored, and tickets are still available for purchase.
You can find instructions on how to retrieve your wristband for the show on the Yuengling Center website.
“I truly appreciate how much time, planning and preparation goes into coming to a show. I can’t describe to you how sorry I am to have to move things around,” Rapp wrote.
