Changes are coming soon at Universal CityWalk, including the removal of the Epic Universe Preview Center and a swapping out of eateries.

The preview center, which opened in June 2024, touted the opening of Universal Orlando’s third theme park with merchandise, photo ops and a large model of the attractions, including roller coasters, which was enhanced with augmented-reality representations of the indoor activities. The actual Epic theme park debuted May 22. The final day to visit the preview center, located on the lower level of CityWalk, is April 12.

The Universal Legacy Store will return to that space in late April, the resort says. The retail outlet spotlights Universal Pictures franchises such as “Jaws,” “Back to the Future” and assorted classic monsters and retro merchandise tied to Universal Studios Florida theme park.

On the upper level of CityWalk, a Five Guys location will replace the Burger King Whopper Bar, which has operated there since 2009. The last day to handle a whopper there will be April 20. Five Guys is scheduled to open sometime this summer.
