JACKSONVILLE, Ore. – Law enforcement took one person into custody following a multi-agency operation.
Authorities have cleared from the scene. All roads in the area are now open.
Law enforcement said there is no ongoing threat to the community at this time. Additional information will be released at a later time.

JACKSONVILLE, Ore. – Police are responding to a barricaded person inside a home on the 400 block of Oak Street.
Multiple Jacksonville Police Department units are working the situation. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is helping with K9, drone and SWAT resources.
Police are asking people to avoid the Oregon Street and Oak Street areas. A shelter-in-place order has been issued through Reverse 911 to homes within about a one-block radius.
People in the affected area should stay indoors, lock doors and windows and stay away from exterior walls and windows until further notice. The situation is ongoing.
