LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Gateway area of Lee County, according to the Fort Myers Police Department.
A heavy police presence was dispatched to Plantation Gardens Drive near the Arborwood community following reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
No additional details about the individuals involved have been released. The incident remains under investigation.
