TAMPA, Fla (WFLA) — A man was arrested on Friday after law enforcement said they found files of child sexual abuse material in his home.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, their Internet Predator Unit executed a search warrant on Friday at a home on Southern Bayou Place in Tampa.
As detectives made contact, deputies said Andrew Reyes, 26, attempted to shut the door and resisted being detained by grabbing multiple detectives’ hands, legs, and upper bodies.
Detectives ultimately entered the home and took Reyes into custody.
During the investigation, detectives found more than 100 files of child sexual abuse material, the sheriff’s office said.
Reyes was charged with 100 counts of solicitation or possession of child pornography, 10 or more images and content of images, two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting an officer with violence.
