In an announcement on their website, Universal shared that they are pausing Annual Passes that include the three parks: Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. This includes both new purchases and current Passholders looking to renew.

The full announcement also includes the news that Volcano Bay will be closed on select dates between October 2025 and February 2026, and it will be closed for five months beginning October 26, 2026. Universal has ended the use of TapuTapu wearable devices and virtual lines at Volcano Bay starting this month.

These closures and changes could be the reasoning behind pausing 3-Park Annual Passes.

The news comes shortly after 2026 tickets were released. Annual Passholders can purchase single-day tickets for Epic Universe through the end of next year. This suggests Universal may not be planning to add Epic Universe to Annual Passes until at least 2027.

Annual Passholder perks include flexible payment options, specially-priced Epic Universe tickets, hotel room/vacation package discounts, dining and merchandise discounts, free/discounted parking, an exclusive lounge, and more.
