GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Florida Highway Patrol says a 30-year-old man is dead after a head-on crash late Saturday night.
Troopers say the man, of Jacksonville, was traveling east in the westbound lane along Northeast 53rd Terrace just after 11:30, when an approaching vehicle, coming from the opposite direction, hit it head on.
The approaching vehicle flipped, while the 30-year-old man’s car burst into flames.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
