Scoring 17 unanswered points to close out the game, Miami Football seized an inspired 26-17 win against Western Michigan in front of an energetic Family Weekend crowd. The RedHawks are now 4-0 in conference play and the only undefeated team remaining in league action. Miami heads to Ohio for a Battle of the Bricks matchup on Tuesday, Nov. 4 before returning home the following week to host Toledo. Miami Cross Country travels to the MAC Championships in Buffalo, N.Y. for the Saturday meet.
No. 15 Miami Field Hockey moved up three spots in the national rankings. The RedHawks downed Ohio 4-1 in a Battle of the Bricks match-up last Friday. Miami hosts Longwood Friday at 1 p.m. for Senior Day and a postgame autograph session with the RedHawks. There will be a food truck and grill with free concessions for fans from 12-2 p.m., so enjoy some lunch while cheering on the RedHawks.
Miami Soccer clinched a spot in the upcoming MAC Tournament with a 3-0 win at Ohio in a Battle of the Bricks match-up last Thursday. The RedHawks notched a 2-1 triumph at Ball State Sunday. Miami closes out the regular season hosting Kent State at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Miami Golf’s Liam Nelson collected his first career win at the Flyer Invitational.
Miami Tennis heads to the Purdue Invite Oct. 31-Nov. 1.
