Cape Coral High School evacuated due to potential gas leak | Lee County

All students at Cape Coral High school have evacuated due to a potential gas leak.

The potential gas leak was reported at the school Tuesday morning.

All students have been safely evacuated and are in a secure area.

The Cape Coral Fire Department is on scene investigating. The Lee County School District said that the evacuation is a precaution as the fire department looks for the source.

They are asking people to avoid the area until further notice.
