Playwright/Actor Michael Wanzie revives his popular drag character persona of truck stop waitress & Carolina Moon Cottages & Trailer Court refugee, Deloris Scud in this hi-camp, politically charged, no holds barred, irreverent, Holiday Comedy guaranteed to induce belly laughs. Deloris is being interviewed by the off-stage voice of Orlando Sentinel Columnist Scott Maxwell as she is sitting in front of her relocated trailer home sipping Jack & Coke and working on creating her Christmas Decor items for the upcoming Holiday Pop-Up Craft Sale to benefit organizations that offer Transgender care. Deloris has an opinion about everyone and everything and names will be named. The interview is being conducted to promote the launch of her new book entitled, “How Serving Up Biscuits & Gravy Helped Me Ta Overcome a Lifetime of Racism and Bigotry.” The festive holiday hijinks conclude with Deloris singing her new song, “Another Orlando Christmas”.
