The City of Tampa’s first Earth Fair will take place on Sunday, April 19. The event will feature hands-on activities, educational sessions and demonstrations, interactive art installations, live music, food trucks, and giveaways of plants, trees, and compost—plus much more.
According to a press release from the City of Tampa, here are the included activities:
Explore dozens of interactive booths throughout the Eco Village and Garden Grove
Attend educational sessions hosted in the Hunt Center
Join guided nature walks and tours of the Florida-Friendly Learning Garden
Experience holistic wellness activities, including yoga and sound bowl sessions in the park
Take part in the Mayor’s Tree Giveaway, along with plant and compost distribution
Enjoy family-friendly arts, entertainment, and cultural activities
Grab a bite from food and beverage trucks, and more
This event will take place on April 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 4810 N. Himes Avenue. There will also be every-hour nature walks (10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.) and every 30 minutes, educational sessions and Florida-friendly landscaping tours.
