October 27, 2025 – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Clearwater Police Department, Largo Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department, Indian Shores Police Department and St. Petersburg Police Department collected 687.3 pounds of medication Saturday as part of Operation Medicine Cabinet. The initiative helps prevent children from accidental ingestions, provides public education on proper medication disposal and raises awareness of prescription drug abuse. Drop-off containers at the Sheriff’s Office Administration Building (Largo) and North District Station (Dunedin) are open year-round.
